About Dr. Anna Zimmermann

Hello! Welcome to Mighty Littles. I’m a Mom and Neonatologist, currently living in Denver, Colorado with my husband and three children. Parenting is the most intensive job in the world, and whether you are parenting in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or at home, challenges invariably arise.

I am surrounded by littles all day:

  • Little tiny babies in the NICU

  • My personal littles, now 6 and 3 years old

  • Little challenges

  • Little moments of joy

Balancing my love of life, travel, children and work has become my focus. I am constantly looking for more - more information, more resources, and especially, more time. All that searching has lead me to want to share it with a community of parents who believe in the power of littles.

I’ve created this site to explore all topics related to parenting - from parenting in the NICU to parenting around the world. Let’s explore together - the little moments of joy, small mistakes, big mistakes, the messy reality of life. This blog starts from the view that we are all doing our best to raise happy healthy humans.
